Award-winning Canadian-Egyptian singer-songwriter, producer and mixing engineer Sarah Shafey is currently in the studio getting back to her roots and recording her new Alternative/Grunge/Rock album.

 

She released her catchy pop-electronic single “I’m Sick” on September 30, 2023. The song explores the dark side of fame and plays a tongue-in-cheek game between the id, the ego, and the superego.

 

In 2022 she released her fourth studio album Blackbox Universe, co-produced, co-engineered and co-mixed with Hill Kourkoutis; the first female to win a JUNO award in the Recording Engineer of the Year category (2022). Hill has produced for and played with some of Canada’s most notable artists including The Weeknd, July Talk, Serena Ryder, Madison Violet, SATE, Good Lovelies, Dear Rouge, Adam Cohen and more.
