“Route 25” turns evolution into a literal journey. Inspired by Sarah Shafey’s move from Toronto to Los Angeles, the track captures the uncertainty and freedom that come with uprooting your life and choosing something bigger for yourself.
As she navigates through a soundscape crafted with chugging guitars and ethereal synths, Shafey not only redefines her musical identity but also challenges the listener to embrace a narrative of strength and self-discovery.

“Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” is both grungy and introspective, with an ultra-catchy instrumental that will get anyone up and dancing.
“Messin Around” and its music video, oozing with vintage charm, the song evokes 1960s-era girl groups but with edgy guitars that uphold The Paper Bag Princess’s 1990s grunge aesthetic. Wits catchy melodies and upbeat tempo.
